EDC knives with no carry restriction found in Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania has no statewide blade-length, lock or opening-type limit; automatic knives were removed from the offensive-weapons definition in 2022. Intent to use a weapon criminally, schools, and court facilities are the main limits. There is no knife preemption, and Philadelphia's ordinance bans cutting weapons on streets (enforcement reportedly halted by a 2023 settlement).
This is a filter, not a ranking. We have not tested these knives, and “no restriction found” is not a promise that carrying is legal. Transport rules, local bans and events still apply. Read the full Pennsylvania page first.
